This article talks about how The U.S. is losing a generation
because of poverty. The article says that since so many people are
poor, they don’t have enough money to live on and survive. It also
says how we were getting more jobs, from 1999 to 2000, but at
2000 they started getting paid worse. Many people started to live in
houses but people still are in poverty. In total 46% percent of
families are poor/near poor, and are struggling economically.
My opinion on this article is that all the facts are true and such.
Many of the families that live in the U.S. are still struggling poverty
and such. Many people don’t understand this, and it really bugs me.
I want people to get out of poverty because I feel bad for them. This
is the end of my opinion.
